MUKZIN draws its name from the "mysterious fan" of oriental legend, believed to bring luck. Established in 2014 by Kate Han and George Feng, the brand takes a pan-Asian approach, blending traditional craftsmanship with modern design to interpret oriental culture. From 2018 to 2020, MUKZIN participated in major international fashion weeks and design exhibitions, including those in Paris, London, Milan, New York, and MAXXI. In 2021, the team ventured to Qinghai, integrating the intangible cultural heritage of "Guinan Embroidery" from the snowy plateau into fashion. Inspired by the traditional hair ornaments worn by Qinghai girls, known as "Jialong," MUKZIN's collection preserves the spirit of cultural inheritance while embracing contemporary aesthetics, creating a timeless appeal.
